    Description

    I am not sure of which Asian country this pair of wonderful bookends is from, perhaps China, Japan or Korea!! I am guessing they pre-date WWII!! The wood is very heavy (the pair weigh a little over 5 pounds!) and the vignettes are hand carved with hand painted features and faded coloring on the costumes!!
    The wood has no cracks or chips but there is some wear to the finish on the edges and corners which has been touched-up over the years!! The felt on the bottoms is original and adequate but should be replaced!! Approx. 10" X 2" at the base X 6" tall!! Please see my many other book listings and email me with any questions!!
